These can be either a Training Firm or a Consulting Firm. But the Marketing Agents mentioned here is a person who has no company on his/her own. He/She prefers to do marketing only and earn cash payment for his/her effort.
So, in what areas can Marketing Agents do on marketing?
- Auditing. ISO Auditing. Total about 10,000 companies or organisations are certified to ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 in Malaysia. Similarly, about the same number of 10,000 in Singapore. Every company has to budget RM2,000 to RM5,000 per company or S$2,000 to S$5,000 in Singapore for the annual ISO Audits.
- Consulting. There is still the Grants in Singapore to do ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. Maximum grants per SME company is S$5,000 per project.
- Training. HRDF. Every year there is RM400 Millions to tap on on Training in Malaysia. There is now S$ Billions in training allocation to help Singapore SME.
